Ace Hardware Bucket Days

August 2-4

Customers who make a $5 donation to Children’s Miracle Network on August 2, 3, and 4 at ACE Hardware will receive a five-gallon “Ace Cares for Kids” bucket. Customers will then receive 20 percent off whatever fits in the bucket with normal exclusions.  Local locations participating include Westlake Ace Hardware, at 1821 Knickerbocker Road, and Keith Ace Hardware in Brady, at 2210 S Bridge Street.

Spirit of Children

Spirit of Children brings fun and funding to local hospitals at Halloween and all year round. Their mission is to make hospitals less scary for kids and their families through support of the Child Life Department at partner hospitals in our local communities. Since 2007, Spirit of Children has raised $37 million to provide Child Life funding for art, music, aquatic and pet therapy programs, as well as the purchase of educational items, and toys used for distraction during medical procedures and much more. One hundred percent of every dollar donated supports the Child Life Department in our 140 partner hospitals across the United States and Canada.

The San Angelo store is located at 4238 Sunset Blvd., and funds raised at the store will go directly to Shannon Medical Center. Spirit Halloween shoppers who make at least a $2 donation will receive a branded Spirit of Children bracelet with the hashtag #SpiritofChildren for families to not only wear while trick-or-treating, but also to use to upload Halloween photos showing their support for the program.
